While the project is not officially endorsed or funded by the United Nations, L'héritage vert is designed to actively support and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a conceptual framework.
SDG 13: Climate Action
By establishing olive groves in arid areas, we contribute to local carbon sequestration, combat land degradation, and raise awareness for climate adaptation strategies.
SDG 15: Life on Land
Our agroforestry practices seek to halt desertification, restore degraded soils, and foster biodiversity in semi-arid environments.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
We plan to foster international, multi-stakeholder partnerships between scientific bodies, NGOs, local communities, and global sponsors.
